The Sweetest Fall DIY: Mrs. Butterworth’s Gets a Makeover

There’s something extra charming about giving vintage finds new life, and this fall floral DIY does just that! Using a nostalgic Mrs. Butterworth bottle as a vase, I created a simple, balanced autumn arrangement that adds instant warmth to any space.

✨ What You’ll Need

1️⃣ vintage Mrs. Butterworth syrup bottle (or any amber glass bottle)

4️⃣ fall floral picks:

-large focal flower (like a white sunflower)

-accent spray (for fullness)

-hanging stem (for balance)

-textured stem (like pampas or wheat)

🍁 How to Make It

1️⃣ Start with the back spray, place your tallest stems, like pampas grass or wheat, in the back of the bottle to create height and shape.

2️⃣ Add the hanging stem next, letting it drape naturally to one side for a soft, balanced look.

3️⃣ Layer in your accent spray to fill out the arrangement and add texture.

4️⃣ Finish with your focal flower in the center, it ties everything together and becomes the star of the display.

🌻 Styling Tip

Keep your color palette warm, golds, rusts, and soft greens, to tie into fall décor without overpowering your space. Try grouping this bottle with a candle or a small pumpkin for a cozy vignette.
